Grand Massed Bands - Commemorative Concert
Sunday September 12, 2:30pm - Bruce Mason Centre, Auckland



As a fitting finale to the 2010 North Shore Heritage Festival, the International Military Music Society NZ Branch in conjunction with North Shore City and Geon Print is presenting the sixth in its extremely popular series of annual Grand Massed Bands Commemorative Concerts.

Featuring Auckland's four great Service bands - from the RNZ Navy, RNZ Artillery, RNZ Air Force and the Auckland Police Pipe Band - in another afternoon of glorious entertainment and tribute.

This year’s concert will mark the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, of which it is hoped that several veterans will attend as honoured guests.
